The Obama Movie

A movie about Obama's life. Yeah, I would be really pumped to see that flick.

But the Fresh Prince as Obama? That's kinda interesting.

Clinton Supporter Stabs Obama Supporter

I knew that the race between Obama and Clinton was tight... but this story is just ridiculous.

On top of that... the Clinton supporter is a registered Republican. What's happening here that I'm missing?

Peggy Noonan On William Buckley

Buckley said in effect, Well, there's something known as American conservatism, though it does not even call itself that. It's been calling itself "voting Republican" or "not liking the New Deal." But it is a very American approach to life, and it has to do with knowing that the government is not your master, that America is good, that freedom is good and must be defended, and communism is very, very bad.

The Wall Street Journal article can be found here.

Who knows? But it does sound a tad scripted. I wouldn't put it past him.

Communism

I live in DC and work in Maryland. Seems to me that the citizens of those two places should take a look at the video above.

Moment Of Truth

Have you folks seen the FOX show Moment of Truth? The show has contestants hooked up lie detectors with their family out in the audience. The contestants are asked 21 personal questions about their lives. With each truthful answer they win more money but if they lie then they take away nothing.

The show has been one of my new favorites. However, the last episode concerning a young couple was a little difficult to watch. During the episode the wife admitted all of the following: she was still attracted to past boyfriends, had multiple affairs, and would leave her current husband if given the chance.

After all of this was out she then lied on the last question losing all of her money.

A fascinating story concerning the couple can be found here.

Obama... A 2nd Coming of Reagan?

Well, at least when it comes to speaking ability as this Wall Street Journal article suggests.

I certainly believe that Obama has a fine gift for language as did Reagan. I also think it is unwise to underestimate Obama's appeal to the voters. A lot of his appeal is that he is the exact opposite to the image many people have of Bush--more articulate and more diverse for starters.

But I really think support for Obama is really a tragedy in the making. After 8 years of President Bush and Republican control the Democrats really deserve a better candidate. Democrats have suffered enough having their ideas ignored. They need a candidate who has years of experience in battling the Right-Wing attack machine. They need someone who has been battle tested. They need someone who can actually implement their ideas (someone who knows the proper political tactics).

Sadly I think that Obama is being set up for a gigantic fall. Its a shame that a great party has to rely on a man who has been a senator for less than 4 years to lead it forward.

Obama = A Repeat Of McGovern

Wow. If that video is true (and perhaps it might be a fake) McCain should spend millions in airing it all over the country without any changes at all!

The End Of Conservatism?

Sigh, another person in the media who thinks that the conservative movement is dead.

Terrorist Bunny Says "Don't Buy Danish"

The wacky and nutty terrorist bunny from Palestinian TV is at it again. This time he is threatening those who choose to buy Danish products.

Why is he jumping mad (ha ha!)? Did someone steal his carrots? Was he sick of being cruelly denied his favorite morning cereal? Nope, the anger comes from a simple drawing. Sigh.

Resurrection?

I have been gone a whole year now.

Perhaps I should start this blog up again. I miss it.

Plus, with Obama-mania running wild there needs to be a voice under the age of 30 with some sanity.

Expect more in the near future!
