Amazon.com Faces Lawsuit for Illegal Cockfighting Magazines
The Humane Society of The United States is suing Amazon.com because the online company sold subscriptions to cockfighting magazines. The Humane Society claims that this practice is against Federal Law.
Fine, whatever. I am not going to get into whether or not The Humane Society has a case. But I found the following statistic from the article horrifying:
Of the more than 17,000 magazines sold by Amazon, "The Gamecock" ranks at number 501.
#501? You gotta be kidding me! Don't you think that out of all the topics in the world the fact that a cockfighting magazine ranks as high as #501 out of 17,000 magazines is a tad odd? I had no idea that a rooster trend was sweeping the country.
