The GOP, Illegals, and Elections

Would the National GOP be content to lose... as long as it means that they could keep their pro-illegal immigrant stance? This writer says yes.

I don't know if I would go that far. But I do know that Republicans are going to have trouble getting their voters to come out Tuesday because of the party's weakness on border security.
