Sending Links The Doiop Way
Isn't it a pain in a neck when you try to send a URL to a buddy and it is too damn long?
Pretend you want to send a friend the link to Glenn Reynolds new book, "An Army Of Davids." So you go onto Amazon.com and come up with this link:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=br_ss_hs/102-2973040-3206546?platform=gurupa&url=index%3Dblended&keywords=army+of+davids&Go.x=14&Go.y=14
Wow, now you look like an idiot.
Now, if you are smart you would go to this site called Doiop. Just type in the URL you want to send to your buddy and Doiop will give you a nice little link. And then you could send out this link:
http://doiop.com/Glenn-Reynolds
Wow, that is a lot shorter and a heck of a lot more descriptive. It will take you to the same place.
Snazzy eh?
