CAIR: Stop Using The Term "Islamic Fascist" President Bush!

CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) is at it again! This time the group thinks that such terms as "Islamic Fascist" will give people a negative view on Islam.

The use of ill-defined hot button terms such as 'Islamic fascists,' 'militant jihadism,' 'Islamic radicalism,' or 'totalitarian Islamic empire,' harms our nation's image and interests worldwide, particularly in the Islamic world. It feeds the perception that the war on terror is actually a war on Islam. . .


I think that adding these words like "radicalism" and "fascists" and "militant" to the word "Muslim" is a great way to show that what we are dealing here is not with moderate Muslims but Muslims that wish to use violence to spread their message.

No, it is not a war on Islam as a whole. But it is a war on those who practice Islam in such a way that ends up killing their neighbors and abusing their women. And sorry these suckers are not a group of Christians.

By the way I am Irish Catholic. I condemn and despise what the Radical Catholics did in Ireland for many years. These Catholics that said that they were fighting for Ireland's freedom are just as bad as the Radical Muslims.

And yes, members of the IRA should be called "radical" and "militant." Using religion as a basis for violence is not just a problem in Islam.
