$4.7 Billion Wasted In Hopeless Attempt To Stop Cocaine

I think that the "War on Drugs" is one of the most silly things the government can waste our money on. It is not effective and in the end actually increases violence in our city streets.

Now, I know I have a lot of people that disagree with my opinion on illegal drugs. That is certainly fine. But how do you argue with such failure as displayed in this article?

The problem comes down to simple economics. Cocaine makers will be willing to risk everything in order to gain a thousand percent profit. It is very hard to control that economic fact.
