Democratic Primary Tomorrow

Well, tomorrow is certainly a big day for the state of Connecticut. The Connecticut voters will be given the chose between Ned Lamont and Joseph Lieberman as their Democratic representative in the general election.

But there is no doubt in my mind that those that those that will vote for Mr. Lamont will do so just to vote against Mr. Lieberman.

I am afraid that the amount of hatred generated in this primary by those from DailyKos and other far left institutions, doesn't spell success for the Democrats come 2008 presidential election and beyond.

If a man like Mr. Lieberman, who votes for the Democratic party line 90% of the time, is more liberal than 17 of his fellow Democratic senators, and was the VP pick back in 2000 is not liberal enough for the far lefties then there is no chance a moderate Democrat candidate will be allowed to run come the 2008 presidential election.

Gone will be the days of Bill Clinton in which being a moderate Democrat was something to be proud of. It meant being a Democrat with a track record of success for the American people.

And I am afraid the Democrats will return to be like they were in 1972. It will be anti-war this and anti-war that but there will be a lack of true leadership for that political party.

And that lack of true leadership will spell disaster.
