Rudy For President 2008?

Hat Tip to the mighty Professor Bainbridge for this story.

Mr. Giuliani would have no chance...Zero... Nadda... of receiving the Republican nomination.

First off, while his tough talk might be accepted by New Yorkers it will not be looked too kindly upon by say Georgians who will want someone more charming.

Next, I believe that the Republicans, after years of being disappointed by President Bush, will turn to a candidate with extremely strong conservative credentials.

Don't get me wrong... Mr. Giuliani did a lot for the city both before and after September 11th. I remember being very impressed by the way he cleaned up Time Square.

But on the Republican Presidential ticket? No way.
